About House of Music

House of Music was founded in 2014 as a conceiving hub for creative music production. The house encompasses an extensive service which includes artiste management, music education, music composing and arrangements, and audio recording services. Located at Potong Pasir, our boutique studio offers a comfortable and conducive venue for music lovers to learn Chinese-music instruments. Our in-house musicians are highly qualified professionals who are able to provide music recording services as well. 

 

House of Music now manages music groups and individuals such as trio DoReFaSoLah, Chinese Wind and Percussion ensemble Reverberance, multi-cultural collective yIN Harmony and ocarina ensemble, Ocarina House.

 

Energetically led by Chinese flautist Tan Qing Lun and Tan Wan Lin, House of Music endeavours local talents and young musicians who are mostly Masters and Bachelor graduates from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore); Central Conservatory of Music (Beijing, China); Shanghai Conservatory of Music (Shanghai, China) and Royal College of Music (London, United Kingdom). Many of our outstanding musicians are scholarship recipients from Singapore’s National Arts Council.
